I’m in the market for a dado set. I’ve been looking at the Freud SD208 and SD508. The SD508 costs about twice as much (~$200 at Amazon.com) but contains a 3/23” chipper, which supposedly allows for the dado to cut perfect widths for use with undersized plywoods.
Are there any other good dado sets that I should consider?
If I buy a set without a 3/32” chipper, am I going to regret it?
