Topic tags/keywords: resource tip computer firefox

I know most of us get “secure” using our Internet browsers and don’t like to change. But, if you haven’t tied it yet, the new Mozilla Firefox- version 3- works great.

Maybe the problems, some of the Lumberjocks are experiencing, could be eliminated by updating to this browser.

It can be downloaded from here

You can run Internet explorer and Firefox on the same computer at the same time.

Thanks for the post, Lew. I have installed version 3.

I’m with you, Lew. I can’t see any reason why anyone would want to keep using Internet Explorer, unless they are forced to on a work computer or something like that.

I run IE, FF3 and Opera – sometimes all three at once.

FF3 corrects many of the flaws of FF2 and websites are looking
better than ever. It’s peculiar but some sites only work correctly
with IE.

My favorite is Firefox 3 but my wife is a creature of habit so we also have IE6 (I refuse to use v7).

I don’t know why web site designers still refuse to create sights that will work the same in all browsers. Not that difficult.
