I just bought a Grizzly G0624, but I am having trouble with the belt adjustment. I have followed all instructions but the belt tension lever will not move. Therefore, I cannot loosen the belt to change speed.
Any ideas, please?

Thanks,

Don’t have the 0624, but sometimes the detent pin on the variable selector can get “stucK” which will prevent the lever from moving. My G1067Z gets a little goofy from time to time.

Bill, the Reeves drive might be sticking on the shaft. Mine (The HF version) gets a bit touchy at times and I open it up and oil it and it works fine.

Jim,

I would check to see if they didn’t have the quick release lever open when they set it up and it is just tightened by the motor mount.
