Topic tags/keywords: question drill press

Being a machinist (and a wanna be woodworker) I am a big fan of the Bridgeport milling machine. Does anyone know if there is something that would be like a benchtop milling machine or even a standup drill press sized one? Just in case – a Bridgeport type milling machine is basically a drill press with a moveable table. The table has a crank on the front to move it front to back and another on the side for left to right movement.

UPDATE – I guess I could have done a simple google search for hobby mill before I posted this! I have since done so and see that there are indeed some hobby type milling machines, so I guess my new questions is has anyone used any of these and any thoughts?

I have an X2 mill and have no complaints. Well, other than capacity, but I knew that when I bought it. So far has been a nice mill I got mine from HF but I did upgrade it with a belt drive conversion.
