I want to make wood name tags for my cub scout pack. Any suggestions on how to engrave them? Is it a project I should attempt? -- - Dave ; Austin, TX |

Might be faster with a wood burner rather then straight engraving unless you’re quick with carving knives. Either way it is a neat idea. If using wood burners you could cut and sand the pieces and let the kids do their own names and make it fun for them. -- --Rev. Russ in NY-- A posse ad esse |

Check out a local trophy shop, if you cut out and sand the blanks, the price shouldn’t be too high. |

I would cut out the names on my scroll saw. -- In God We Trust |
