Topic tags/keywords: question

I reciently finished a basic cleaning and upgrade of the guides, tires, and fence systems on my saw. The saw is missing the original foot brake system. I am hoping that someone has this saw and could send me some pics of thee brake with general measurements so that I can fabricate a brake, waiting nearly 2 minutes for it to wind down is getting old.

I know what you mean, I was at a friends house who had a 24 in BS and it takes several minutes for it to spin down. He has a brake on it which helps a lot.

Great site with lots of information on old woodworking machines. The owwm.org forum is also great. Just read the rules before joining or posting. Good group of guys. bob
