Has anyone owned or know anything about a Rockwell 13” x 6” Planar, Model 22-401. There is one for sale close to me. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rusty.

Rusty, Looks like a beast. If you don’t use it already, I recommend JustSnipe for Ebay purchases. It’s free. Determine your maximum bid and it places your bid for you in the last few seconds of the auction. You prevent bidding wars that ratchet up the price. Good luck. -Jack

Kind of late to the party but I have a 22-401 and it’s a great planer. Variable speed which runs off a varidrive pulley connected to the drive motor. It will go through about anything, if the price is decent go for it assuming it’s single phase. Mine is 3 phase so I had to get a phase converter to power it up – I did get the planer cheap enough to compensate for the cost of the RPC.
