Lumberjocks i finally purchased a bandsaw talking about it for three years. I got a G0457 bandsaw from grizzly. I asked a few of you a couple of years ago what kind i should get. And most people said a 17 in bandsaw. I thought about it through out the years and decided to get a 14 inch. The main reason was the size of my shop. I did not want to croud it no more then it is. The G0457 is wired for 220 it has a lot of power. I received it last Thursday and put it together Saturday. It is a awesome saw. I purchased a wood slicer blade and put it on and it cuts wood so clean. i had no problems with shipping. The only issue i had, Grizzly they did not put a manual in the box. I downloaded a manual from Grizzly. I am very pleased with my saw.

Congrats on your purchase. Hard to go wrong with Grizzly. They are not perfect but they do seem to take care of any problems that arise.I have a G0 513 bandsaw of theirs.

Congrats Monty, I hope you get much enjoyment out of your new bandsaw. I know some are going to faint, but for the work I do my bandsaw is more important than my ts.

-- Donnie-- listen to the wood.

Looks like you now have to make at least one bandsaw box to get into the club! Congratulations!
