#71 Stanley Router plane

For one that nice, I wouldn’t accept anything under 75 dollars. Does it have the shoe?

Thanks for the advice guys. What do you mean by shoe. When I get home from work i will take more pictures and post them.

I circled the shoe in the photo below. It is designed to close the throat of the sole to give it more surface area when routing narrow surfaces. The one on my 71 is missing, so it’s always something I look out for, although it isn’t that important.

What you see in the pictures I provided is what comes with the plane, except for the 2 other knifes and documents at the bottom.

Is 100.00 including shipping (around 14.00?) too much without the shoe?

Just curious, how come these router plane are never painted on top?
More often they look like it has been sand blasted but really it is unlikely. Too many of them all look that way.

If it is more a gray color, then it is more likely that it did got blasted.
But differences is probably very settle.
