Bargain Alert

Karson and others have alerted us to deals several times in the blogs. I don’t see a need for a special forum. Most complain of not seeing items that are put in the forums, I’ve missed some myself.

Here is a TRUE bargain alert!
Amazon.com is offering a 20% discount on selected SAW BLADES.
I just bought a Freud Glue Line table saw blade using that 20% discount. The discount worked for the “industrial” version of the saw blade, but not the general “red” saw blade the Freud offers to the public.

Good deal, nonetheless. Maybe you could get a good deal on a TS blade, if you are in need of one.

A forum for bargains sounds good, but sometimes hard to identify for how long these are available. Obviously the time stamp helps, but not sure if there is a good way to do this.

Anyone notice the Rockler, etc ads have disappeared from the bottom of the screen? I thought I might have missed something while I was away for a few days.

The Rockler ads were there, yesterday, 4-26-07. But here is another BARGAIN:
Sears has a Dewalt hammer drill for sale at $99.99. It usually sells for 130.00. It is in the “clearance” section of the tools at www.sears.com. you can buy it online and Sears will usually deliver it to your local store so you can save on delibery charge if you pick it up there.
