Has anyone heard from Horizontal Mike? It is just not the same around here. He added something to the flavor of the site…I just can’t put my finger on it. -- I would drink a river of the kool aid before I took the smallest sip of the tea... |

I think he’s a good guy at heart, but he had a knack for getting into scrapes with folks. I guess he either got kicked out, or just decided to take his ball and go home. -- Charlie M. "Woodworking - patience = firewood" |

I dont’ know him and he has not offended me directly, but i have seen some of his ‘not so nice posts’ and ‘badgering’. Maybe he is eternally resting in a horizontal posistion? (sorry, could not resist that one) -- Crashn - the only thing I make more of than sawdust is mistakes |

Might be too busy running that website of his about Sargent planes. Been alot of “Space Stuff” going on, as well. -- A Planer? I'M the planer, this is what I use |

I agree with you on the flavour part though some times it was cringe worthy as he beat that dead horse into submission again and again. -- gene@toronto.ontario.canada : dovetail free since '53, critiques always welcome. |

To be honest, I use the BS mostly for resawing and have found that moving from 1/2in to 3/4in was noticably an improvement and made it easier to maintain a straight cut line. —HorizontalMike—“Woodpeckers understand…” -- Bert |
