Hi all, For all incra jig users.
I am in the long process of finishing my Router Workstation, 3 of the drawer heights did not match any of the templates, so I found this program a while ago (and was skeptical) didn’t give it much thought until now.
I plugged in the drawer heights and bit and spacing ect. Out came a drawing of what it would look like and all the templates, actually 3, Pin, Tail and Calibration. Printed it and it was off about 1/32”, looked farther into the program and calbrated my printer to 1 /128”, Presto, perfect, still skeptical about paper templates I tried it and am so impressed that I don’t think I need my Dovetail templates any more. Just wanted anyone to know it is available and FREE! It takes a little studying and trial and error ( at least it did for me) but it seems excellent, just take your time to get your printer calibrated to 1/128”.
Any other experiences or horror stories about this program would be apreciated

Thanks for the info. I have always been able to slide my templates to make them work. That is a very old program that is strictly PC. I have a mac. At the bottom of that page was a return to “Free Wood Patterns” or something of that nature. I’m going to keep digging to find something for mac. I might contact Perry McDaniel at Incra and see if they have developed something like you describe. I do thank you very much for the heads up.

You got my juices flowing about this and you will be the first to know by email of anything I discover.

Thank you much mski …................

While I was looking I came across this site for segmented bowl design software:

I saw that software somone was using for cutting boards, That kind of aid helps me alot, I build fishing rods and I found software to wrap designs in thread, I tried without it and could never get it, the software made it simple.
