Woodwrecker, I went through the same discussion with my ‘boss’. But when I sold 4 chairs and showed her the cash, I got the go ahead. Sell something and stash the cash until you’ve got enougfh for the saw. WARNING: marriage counseling is really not my thing!

Sometimes it’s easier to apoligize than to ask permission, but I don’t think that would float in the mote around my Castle either. ;-)

I would go with save a few bucks from a project to show the possibilities. A good woman that lets us butcher wood is hard to find.
