I am needing to adjust my tables on my Delta DJ-20 and I am assuming I need a face type spanner wrench but I have no idea where to pick one up and what part I measure on the notched ring to get the correct size. I live in the denver area so I have a lot at my disposal but everyone I have called does not even carry them.

Did you call Delta and talk to them about it? They will tell you what you need to do…..Just tell them what you need to do, and they should help….All my machines are Deltas, but I don’t have a DJ-20 jointer…wish I did…..that’s my next purchase….

TDOG,

Go to “McMaster.com” and type spanner wrench in search window. You will find several types of spanners and their sizes. You need to know the distance from hole center to hole center and the size of the holes.

I just took a punch and dremel cut it and shaped it to where it fit in the notch just right and tapped them around….now that dancing around coplaner took a while, geesh.

Have your say...
