Topic tags/keywords: introduction

Very confusing menu system. Nothing designates where to post an intro. But I’ll get used to it.
Uploading an Avatar eludes me.

Anyway, my name is Myk. I am a member of many forums devoted to WWing, vintage machines (owwm), and many other varied interests. Have been a computer builder/user since 1972 (another hobby of mine) and started with on-line forums through the late Detroit Freenet during the 70s. .

I retired from Ford in 2004 on April Fools day. A little joke of mine. I was a skilled tradesman for 35 years, and what I learned from the trade, I use to restore vintage WWing machinery for my WW shop. !/2 of a 2 car garage fills up quickly, so I replaced what newer/off shore machines I had with restored vintage. It started with a DeWalt RAS, and includes a Delta DP220, Delta M/W band saw, Delta 16” scrolllie, 1930s Wallace 8” jointer, and a few others.

I belong to a couple WWing groups in Michigan. The Livingston County Woodworkers Guild is my home group. SouthEast Michigan WW group (SEMIWW) is the other. A couple other members of both (Rob and John, I’m heeere) are also members of this forum. I had joined this site years ago, but couldn’t find my login info.

I hope to learn some things, and add to discussions where and when I can.

Ask him about his copper-colored DeWalt MBF.

It’s a beauty.

Hey, Myk !! I know you from a few places, round town :-)

Chester doesn’t seem to have logged-on in a while.

Hi Neil. Just a few places? :) I’ve been in your neck of the woods a few times. Love Co.
