Hello,
I wanted to order the Teco FM50-203-C 3HP VFD today and found that it was out of stock everywhere. Factorymation was out of stock and the website says time ‘till they get them is to be determined. That’d be alright as Dealers Electric has it but It’s out of stock as well. These are the only places you can get it for a reasonable price; others I’ve seen are 300 dollars -A price I can’t afford.

Does anyone know what happened with Teco? Are they increasing prices or is this usual for them?
Thanks.

Whoa. A true 1ph to 3ph variable speed inverter drive? For a reasonable price. Wow. I can’t answer your question but sure am glad you asked. Have to keep these in mind.

I’d like to add an additional question:
What’s a good alternative to the FM50-203-C?
I need it to be 3HP and have the capability for a separate switch.

Thanks.

As it turns out, Dealers Electric does have the FM50-203-C, I suppose it was out of stock for the one day I checked. I saw how Factorymation had it out of stock for about two months and thought, “Oh crap, there must be an issue with Teco”.
I called Dealers and it should be in the mail on Monday via USPS.

If you’re trying to ship to Canada, you have to order via phone.
