You’re treading on dangerous ground, selling copyrighted content

My favorite part was “They’re going fast!”

...it’s digital content. You never run out.

I am not trying to judge you as you may be doing this legally; but, this in no way seems legal from the limited amount of data you’ve given as a description. Also, I find it almost comical that a digital copy that you produced or procured has a quantity that can be depleted in any meaningful way.

My thought is that you have a “limited” quantity only with the premise that you are stepping through a loophole in general US copyright laws that allows for certain amounts to be distributed without being defined as commercial. The problem is you are violating several other stipulations that warrant what you are doing as being piracy or generally out of the fair use limits of the material. As soon as one of those is violated, you are no longer meeting the letter of the law.

Mind you, this is purely speculation on my part. So, it’s just a thought for you.

Yeah Id probably delete this thread while you’re still ahead!

agreed with all the above – How could they “be going fast” ? Its a digital copy….there’s no limit to the amount of copies you can make

Also, unless you can prove that you’ve obtained these legally, and have the right to sell them, I’d HIGHLY suggest no one buys them…..

If anyone is wondering how he got these. He (most likely) got them through what’s called a Torrent. You can download any torrent program and go to a torrent website and download almost anything you want (books, movies, programs, etc, etc, etc) – Downloading them is one “thing”.....trying to sell them is a totally different “thing”

To sum it up…..YIKES

a loophole in general US copyright laws that allows for certain amounts to be distributed without being defined as commercial.

There is no such loophole and it doesn’t matter if he were selling them or not, it only matters if he has the legal right to redistribute.

Comedy answer: Maybe they are limited editions!
