I find myself between projects and some idle time (the rains have set in). I made my last blog update and found some time to reflect on where I am. I’ve on been a member of LJ’s for lets see……..yes, only 506 days, but I wish to convey my appreciation for this web site and all the members of it. It is truly a blessing that I fell into this place where you need not be a master craftsman to feel like you belong, although there are many craftsmen (and women) that contribute their projects and ideas for all to view. Where someone with lesser skills can post a project and be applauded. Where someone might ask a simple question and receive non-critical answers. I have noticed that membership varies with age, gender, skills, and geographic location from around the world with one common characteristic, the common love of building something with their own hands (and with wood). For the developers of this site and the members (contributing or not), thank you.

Love this place. Much better than Facebook and others. Some good stuff on here and some pretty funny people. I didn’t know that woodworkers have such good humor.

I couldn’t agree with you more, my only regret is it took a year or so of me browsing the site before I finally signed up 2 months ago. I would like to thank you and everyone on here for the great advice, the nice comments and the constructive criticism. It’s like being with the guys at the hardware store without leaving the shop.

LJs is the most massive, fun and informational woodworking site I’ve come across. I enjoy being here immensely and, relish reading all of the input. LJs and a cup of coffee starts my day.
