I possibly might have a chance to score some Ceiba wood, from a friend’s property in Mexico.
Question is whether this is a good wood for projects? Does it turn well? Mostly wondering whether I should ask for slabs or turning stock. And indeed, whether this wood can even be shipped out of the country. Who’s got some firsthand knowledge of this species? Thx.
