I’ve seen a number of people who are signing up to ask Jocks to have things made. Perhaps we could have an on-line request form that allows for collection of information from people relative to what they are looking for

Title
Description of item
Size
Materials
Location
Rough prices
Etc.

Jocks could then mail the people using site email system to discuss the request….

Sort of an LJ job board. Seems like a pretty good idea.

Promising but are we at risk of turning this into a commercial operation rather than a wood working community???.

I’m not sure if it would have a siginficant commercial aspect or how that might affect the community. I actually belive this is happening to some degree and perhaps it should be recognized and leveraged. I’m interested in what the folks who do woodworking professionaly would think. I am a pure hobbyist.

Ideally, this should be a link to a sister site. I can see what this could turn into. Construct a link to shopping and we can drink coffee and talk over here. It’s nice to talk shop without being hounded about business. bbqKing
