Biesemeyer Splitter? Or another splitter?

I’m currently working on this unisaw refurb. project and am at the point where I need to start thinking about accessories. I’m all about safety and the splitter that came with the unisaw is a bit bent and though I’ve straightened it out as much as I can I’m starting to think I need to get a different splitter for it.

Does anyone have any reccomendations? Should I go with the original splitter? Biesemeyer? Shark? And I did many rabbet cuts on my last table saw. Will the splitter get in the way of such cuts?

I’d consider a riving knife. Now that there is one for previous models of the Unisaw. I’m considering it myself. There’s a review on it here. That review doesn’t show it on a Unisaw but they make one for it. Just got wind of it myself yesterday.

I currently have a little known Delta splitter that you could get from them for the Unisaw that you can push down when you need to do rabbits or dados and pull back up when you need it. Maybe I’ll take a picture of it and post it.

That would be great Curt. I read the reviews of that riving knife and it’s seems a little cheap? Just judging by the looks of it, but the price is far from cheap. I might wait on the riving knife and wait till the verdict is out on it.
