Topic tags/keywords: tablesaw sander planer miter saw router modern

Hey LumberJocks, Just wanted to pass on a couple cool tool links for Accurate Technology. They offer some really nice digital measuring kits and parts that could give us better control of our tools. I haven’t seen there products before but it looks really nice. Here is their digi-fence (for the table saw). They also have a proscale (for the planer or sander). The digi-router adds digital measuring to a router. The best solution they offer my shop is the digi-stop (for the miter saw). What do you guys think?

That’s a great collection of digital tools to make setup and cutting quicker and more accurate. However, after looking at them and the price, I have a couple of digital calipers from Harbor Freight that I got on sale that I am going to use for the same purpose. First I’ll mount one of them to my router and it should be easy to zero by raising the bit to be flush with my table top and hit the zero button. Then I should be able to crank it up to get a perfect depth of cut on the first pass. Thanks for the idea!

Nice tools but a really nice price. I would need a real production shop to even think about these set-up accessories. Interesting though how the digital realm is invading a traditionally analog world.
