I need to replace the switch on my Shopsmith Mark V and am looking for directions/instructions on how to do it.

Depending our your model there are several ways to do it. If you are lucky you can just use the other side of the DPDT switch. Shopsmith sells a universal kit that includes a switch and a few parts that might be needed depending on the model

There is a “Sawdust session” showing several methods to replace the switch and which ccommercially available switches can be used, you will have to Google it as I don’t have the link right now.

the following switch has be used by many people if it fits your machine, it is very heavy duty and should last forever.!duty-Motor!rated-Toggles/p_789066.h_789068.a_1.t_1
