I am building a “Shut the Box” game and need a little guidence on making the game board numerals (1-12 it is a dice game). Figure my choices are to paint them, route them, die stamp them, or find some metal numerals which I may be able to counter sink in. Would like them to be about 1/2” high.

Attached is a link to a store bought game which painted them on. I prefer not to paint or do anything self adhesive. Any suggestions on how to engrave/route some nice #’s?

I made one of these a couple years ago out of walnut. I used the color dominoes from Target for the numbers and it looked great. Drill slowly though so you don’t crack any dominoes like I did. I’d show you a pic, but I gave the game away as a gift.
