Hello, I am new to the forum and I have a question that may sound basic but what is the proper way to cut with a slide miter saw such as the Harbor Fright mentioned in the title? When you put the piece to cut against the fence and getting ready to make the cut, do you pull the saw through the piece or do you bring the saw all the way out then push the saw cut towards the fence? Might sound silly but you would not believe the answers. Thanks for any help clearing this up for a newbie. Jim001
