Hi !! I will be traveling through Arizona and New Mexico the next few days along I-40. Does anyone know of a place to buy wood not to far off of the interstate ? I am looking for bowl turning blanks from wood that is locally harvested. Any help would be appreciated.

When you are going East of Tucson there is a cut off road ( Exit 318 off I 10) to turn off to go down 191 called Dragoon road. In that little town of Dragoon, I am told there is a guy there that will sell you Mesquite. Shipwright says he buys it there. I don’t know the guy’s name, but you might pm LJ named Shipwright to get his name and location.
I’m sorry, I missed that you said I 40. Can’t help with any there
