I found a source for hardwood Just north of Jacksonville FL in Georgia. Here is a list of what they have and a the asking bf price. From what I could tell from a few photos that all boards are rough with straight line rip on one edge. They said it is all kiln dried, but did not say how it is stacked. They did say it is in storage units. They did not give me the quantity of each species but said that they have 4 storage buildings full of it. They said they were told that it is all very high grade and the buyer will be very pleased. The prices seem a bit high, but it comes from an estate so they are wanting to unload it so I was wanting to make them an offer. If anyone In south Georgia north Florida is interested in SOME of the wood, I am interested in making them an offer for all of it and splitting it up. They are only available on the weekends, so I am planning a trip Saturday afternoon or Sunday. I’m a tax accountant, so my schedule is pretty full, working 15 hour days… You can contact me at scott@schellhogan.com if interested. 4/4 Lacewood $6.00 bf |
