Topic tags/keywords: question vise

I need vises for my work bench and would like know what you have and use before I make my purchase. I am looking at a end vise and front vise. TIA.

The Veritas vises are of great quality and not too expensive. I have two on my bench which you can see here:

A lot of people like their twin screw vise, which I would have purchased, but it was a little out of my price range.

If you have a larger budget, definitely check out the hardware made by Benchcrafted:

Emmert vises rock. Pricey though.

The above mentioned are great as well.

FWW just had a face vice review in a workbench special edition. They had the Shopfox 9” rated as best value. $90 from best overall was Jorgensen at $165. These were ready to install types. In hardware only they had LN chain drive as best @ $285 and best value for LV for $140. Just an FYI, good luck.
