Christopher Schwarz (aptly named The Schwarz by the Wood Whisperer) is at it again. If you follow Schwarz’s blogs or have read his workbench book you’ve heard of Roubo. Now Schwarz is having Roubo’s books translated and will publish the translations on his blog.

The first installment is up on his blog at Lost Art Press. If you’re interested in the history of woodworking, or studying how it was done before electricity, you should take a look.

I read this when it was posted and have periodically been checking up on it. An interesting project and I am looking forward to the final product. The Schwarz should be proud of his efforts to work on the translation.
