My wife and I were having a little debate and I was wondering what the LJ’s consensus would be on the matter. We have an old bed that was left behind by the old homeowners, just the head and foot board. Looks like it’s solid maple. I don’t really like the design much and thought I could use the wood in other projects. My wife says that we should sell it cheaply so that someone that needs it can use it. She thinks it’s a shame to waste the energy that went into making it. It is perfectly good, it just needs the cross members that hold it together. I figure we couldn’t sell it for what it would cost me to buy that much wood, so we might as well recycle it. What do you think? Reuse or recycle? |
