Thanks to everyone who has had something positive to contribute on Lumberjocks, I have been in awe of some of the projects and grateful for the help and advice offered by some of you seasoned woodworkers.
I’ve also learnt a lot of new acronyms.
I bid you all adieu as the carry-on of the last few weeks is not what a woodworking forum should be about and I don’t want to be a part of it anymore.

Don’t let a few posts that were questionable at best have you make the descicion to leave. I for one would like to see more from you, you got s bunch of nice projects, (my daughter favors the playhouse project).

If you still decide to leave thanks for your contributions while you were here.

Yeah men, don’t let them ruin your experience. You will find that most are very nice, some very knowledgeable and that some of the projects are a great source of inspiration. Leaving because of a few morons only means they won….remember, evil triumphs when good men do nothing… stay and enjoy.

If all the good guys leave because of a few aholes, then there won’t be a LJs any more. Jusy a few CockyJocks. I wonder who those 5 or 6 people, who know everything, and are the only people on Earth who aren’t rednecks and idiots, will get to pick on and belittle then?

Ditto what a1Jim and jorge said! This is getting sad for me. I hate to see those who can help others leave this site.

I, like you, have found several members childish and irritating. So I don’t rise to their bait, don’t engage their spleen, don’t even look at their posts. There are so many great woodworkers at this site who are eager to help and offer positive and constructive comments that allowing a mutilated handful if individuals to chase me away seems a bad deal. Please re-think your decision. You have a lot to offer the rest of us.

I too was contemplating whether or not I should leave, but after thinking about it, I’ve found more good here than bad. I do see a few here that are out of line, but for the most part LJ’s is full of genuinely good people.

I do feel the soap opera needs to go, along with the complaints about improper posting, etc, etc. But you leaving won’t change that. All that will do is have a negative effect on those who have befriended you while you were here, and those who have benefited from your help or advice.

I can understand leaving, and if you decide to, I wish you well. Though I don’t want to see anyone leave over the recent drama. I’m hoping it will go away as quickly as it settled in here.

The best to you, no matter your choice.
