I want to mount my 1619EVS router into a table. What mounting plate is recommended to use for this? I have it mounted in an MDF board on my table saw but the MDF is too thick to make changing the router tip easy. I think a plate of some type would help with this. Any suggestions?

I have a Bosch 1617EVS…not sure of the difference between it and the 1619EVS…and i have had it mounted on an Incra Master Lift II and it works great. Incra also sells a plate without the lift mechanism if you want just a plate by itself.

I used a Lee Valley round phenolic plate for my table. Comes with all hardware to cut hole and great installation instructions. Worked right the first time.
Lee Valley # 05J25.01. $42.50 in the Sept. ‘11 catalog.
I’d buy it again.
