This may not be news to others but it caught me by surprise. Anyone see an option at your Home Depot to pay for purchases using PayPal? I saw it for the first time yesterday at my Cedar Hill store when I went through the self check-out.

Thanks for posting this. I did read a while ago that they were going to try this. Apparently its working well.
It sounds like a great convienience. I sometimes worry though that its another method for those committing fraud to get your money :-)

My Paypal account is linked to my checking account so there wouldn’t be any advantage to using it compared to my debit card. Maybe it’s to head off the threat of debit cards fees by the banks. Then I’d sure use it.

Jeff, me too.

I know I’ve come up to the register and reached for my wallet and realized I didn’t have it. A PayPal option would have helped me then.
