I have the 734 and a dust collector, but do they make some sort of attachment to allow me to hook the dust collector up to the 734? I have searched and searched but seen nothing, currently is just comes out the chute under the little tool holder. I have taken the tool tray off and the dust comes out from a square hole, I’m guessing there is some sort of attachment I need to buy.

What has everybody else used?

Mine came with a 4” hose attachment, looks like you can order one online. Page C, item 180:

EDIT: I forgot to mention there are a couple little screws that hold it in place, I can’t quite tell which ones they are in the part diagram, maybe someone else can help there.

My 733 came with the shroud and adapter. It will use either 4” or 2 1/2” hose hookup.

I have the 734 and it came with parts 179 and 180, did you buy yours new? If so, it should have been in the package. If it wasn’t maybe a call to DeWalt will help.

Thanks a ton for the quick replies, part 180 is just what I need. I’ve searched and searched (looking for the schematic never crossed my mind, brainfart). I checked the dewalt site, thinking it may be an optional part and they didn’t have anything listed.

-I bought it used is why I guess it didn’t come with it, sometimes buying things used can be a headache because of the little stuff.
