LumberJocks' Share: Hinges

in spicing up their box projects

here is a simple style i came up with
just two ‘wings’ attached to the top
and pivoting on the sides with a screw

A lot of postings here on Llumberjocks didn’t get tagged with all the keywords that someone might be searching for. So when I’m searching for a topic or project, I use google and do a LJ site only search. Using a search engine that indexes every word in every post finds a lot more pages, than a keyword specific site search. I do wish more people put in more keywords, like wood used, type of joint used, style of furniture, etc. But they don’t… So the phrase below on google will find every webpage on Lumberjocks that includes, hinge(with anything after it like an s) and walnut.

Excluding the keyword box brought the result down to just over 1800. Just be specific with your keywords to include the things you are looking for and to exclude those that you aren’t.

TAGS TAGS TAGS…I havent brought that up in a while…but it is helpful…Hal…good idea…

Debbie—-is there a way to have a tags button REQUIRED when posting a project…OR—-when someone hits the post project button a little box could pop up explaining how helpful tags are—and will get them more hits on their project…this would pop up only if they dont put in any tags…

It could be the ”GOT TAGS?” box…
