Topic tags/keywords: chisel stanley socket

I have my Grandfather’s Stanley socket chisels. They have a D stamped between the Stanley and Made in USA stamps. Can anyone tell me anything about these particular chisels?

I believe it stands for “Defiance” which is a line of stanley tools. I have seen them advertised as “D” socket chisels.
