I found a 3hp Sawstop for sale. It appears to be only 2 years old. Has the 52” fence system. What is a fair price ?

I just saw a 5 HP, 3 phase that was never put together go for ~$2900.

I was looking at an auction site in southern CA and they show two SawStops:

5HP, 1 phase, 50” fence – $2900
5HP, 3 phase, 50” fence – $3250

If you figure a 3HP, 1 phase Pro saw is $2999 new, if you can get it for 60-80% of this price ($1800 – $2400) is a good deal assuming it has not been abused. If it comes with a lot of extras (brakes, inserts, etc.), it might be worth more. Ask how many times the brake has fired.

Be sure to turn it on before you buy it. Make sure the system self test works, and you can run the saw.

Here the link from SawStop for the owners manual for the 3HP saw. I would suggest you review it before hand to ensure you get everything.

Good luck,

Here’s a guy wanting to sell one or $2750.

I’ll bet he’d accept $2500 without batting an eye.
