A friend has been telling me about this wood he was going to give me for about a year. He bought a house and the previous owner built grandfather clocks and had a nice stash of wood. He finally told me to come get it or it was going to be burned. He needed the space that all this wood took up. So in order to help out a friend, I took it off his hands. So far I have found at least 70 bdft of padouk, at least that much black walnut, some in 6/4 and 8/4 with lengths to 12 feet. There is also some mahogany, cherry, and cedar. I didn’t realize when I told him I’d take it all that there was so much of it. I’m not complaining at all!!! I told him if he needs to get rid of some more “firewood” to let me know! I still need to sort through it all and find a place to put it but I can deal with that!!

Yup, you suck.

I can not say much- I have a stack of white oak, with a couple of curly maples boards, that was given to me by someone about to move.

Dang beat to it agaiin … i guess ill keep my pictures of (4) 3”x 3” x 14’ oak timbers for another day, someones stole the spotlight. SO here it is … drum rolll please ….... yoouuuuu suck!

That is a rough situation to be in. I had a friend that asked me to help out cleaning his barn out. I came home with trailer loads of cherry, walnut, and oak. The only thing i could do is build another shed to put it in. Congrates on the score
