I purchased a new bandsaw blade the other day on the bay, and just received it today. It is a 105” 3/4 inch resaw blade. Well, It won’t fit my saw. I have other 105” blades that fit fine, but this one will not go on, no matter what I try. The reason I am posting is, Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this from a brand name blade such as Timberwolf? Or am I getting some random blade sold to me, and being told it’s a Timberwolf. -- San Diego, CA |

Can’t say, maybe it was a factory second. -- Bondo Gaposis |

I have bought Timberwolf blades from Grizzly and direct from Sussex and they all fit with no problems. I suspect your blade may be a knock off or was mismarked as to its lengrth. Can you return it? That would be my advice. -- " I'll try to be nicer, if you'll try to be smarter" gfadvm |

I’m still talking to the seller… I think he wants me to pay shipping, and I already paid shipping to me from him at $10.40 already… as it is now, i’m into this blade for $35. If I ship it back to him and he pays shipping to me for another one I would be up to $45 for a single blade. I’m starting to regret using eBay to buy stuff -- San Diego, CA |

I measured it with a tape rule… it’s 104 inches. It was listed at 105” -- San Diego, CA |

My Timberwolf blades are slightly blued, not plain steel colored like others I’m familiar with. I recently bought two myself via Amazon and they were shrunk on cards, had the blue look, and fit my GO555 just fine. I have been dealing with Eagle America over mislabeled blades. In December I ordered 3 -3TPI resaw blades. They came quickly, I had them by the first of January. Only one would fit, the others were too long. Still waiting. -- Improvise.... Adapt...... Overcome! |

This one wasn’t in any type of package. It was just coiled up and tied with a couple of wire ties. The only thing that it had on it was a piece of card paper with the length, width, tpi, type hand written on it. The paper also had a picture of a wolf carrying a blade in it’s mouth. -- San Diego, CA |

That’s the way my Twolf blades come so it looks like you got the right blade but in the wrong size. If it’s 104” and represented as 105” the shipping should be on them. Give them Hell. -- " I'll try to be nicer, if you'll try to be smarter" gfadvm |

That’s only one of the reasons I do not buy anything from Ebay. -- *Arachnoleptic*: The frantic dance performed just after you've accidently walked through a spider web. |

I’ve been a member on eBay for about 12 years now… Buying and selling. I’ve never had a problem purchasing before… although I have had a few who won auctions I had listed and never paid… -- San Diego, CA |

I just got a message from the fellow who I purchased the blade from. He is ordering a new blade, and will reimburse my shipping costs once he gets the blade he originally sent back. So, hopefully this will go okay… I always have the option of filing a dispute later if it goes bad. -- San Diego, CA |

sounds like a wrong will b righted. I use Timberwolf blades also. If you get on their email list, once in a while they do a buy 3 get 1 free deal. http://www.suffolkmachinery.com/ I’m very happy with their blades and have not ever had a problem with them. Good luck. Hope your problem gets fixed -- Roger from KY. Work/Play/Travel Safe. Kentuk55@bellsouth.net |

Most of my blades are Timber Wolf direct from Suffolk Machinery. I can’t see the up side to dealing with a re- seller. -- Gene 'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton |
