Hey folks,

I use my bandsaw quite a bit for many different operations, and recently have been having less than desirable results from it. So I did a complete table off re-alignment last night. Mostly my alignment was for the blade guide assemblies. I also did a table re-alignment, but there are other things you can do as well.

The saw now cuts like a dream!!!! Something as simple as aligning your cool blocks, tension and tracking will make your cuts improve 300%. I cut a veneer right after adjusting that bent into a 3/4 circle without cracking. I think i would need my hand plane to take a thinner shaving.

So, this is a reminder to you guys… take a few minutes every once in a while to align your tools. The few minutes will pay off in the end.

I absolutely agree with you Robert. very good point/s. I feel especially if you’ve used any saw/equipment for a large project, before you do the next one, just look it over. gr8 reminder
