Hi all,
I thought you might enjoy what I made with my bandsaw. They are now 8/4 waxed, bookmatched slabs of curly cherry over 20” wide in some areas cut parallel to the crotch for the flame curl.

Thanks for the compliments. I waxed them today and stickered them. I then added flitch savers wherever they looked stressed. I am going to gently air dry and then kiln dry them. After that Bill, I am not sure. I have delivered to mississippi before on the way to my cousin’s in florida…

I make it through Wisconsin every year Bob. We might need to chat closer to summer. As for too much wood Don, I have a forest, mills, and kilns. My evening hobby is running my sawmill, and then I have to figure out how to get rid of the wood.

Nice hobby. To bad we didn’t live closer together, I could help with your problem. I’ve been looking at small band saw mills. Sooner or later I’ll have one.
