I am headed to the woodworking show in the seattle area this weekend. I can’t wait. As an amateur woodworker I will take any opportunity I can to learn a new skill. Anybody else going? I went to the one in Sacramento last weekend. Does that count? Enjoy the show. -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

I’m in the Seattle are too. I’ll be there on Saturday. It should be a lot fun. I’ve never been to one these before. I’m sure 1 day won’t be enough :). |

The show was good. I did not get to spend as much time as I would have liked. There are $2 off tickets on their web site and also free Spouse tickets if you did not get their mailer. I only went to a couple of the sessions. If you have the time you could spend a couple of days there. I’m kind of kicking my self for not picking up the Jet sharpener. They were $250 at the show… -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

Had a great time at the show. Jim Heavy is very entertaining and had lots of good tips. He is very down to earth and really wanted to help us get better at this hobby. To many tools, to little money. Lots of nice wood there as well. -- ShawnH "In matters of style, swim with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock." Thomas Jefferson |

Shawn and Wayne, you should blog your woodshow trips to let us know how they went. The good points, the bad points, what you enjoyed, and what bargins you missed picking up (Wayne). It sounds like it would be a good item to share. I missed the Sacramento show. Hopefully there will be another one in the area this year. -- Bill, Turlock California, http://www.brookswoodworks.com |
