Good day

I was and still, using the height gauge as it the first picture but I think that you will not be interested (I have a “step by step” pics).

I decided to be more accurate and modified the caliper to height gauge.

I use it normally to set the router bit height when I need precision.

You can use any caliper and it takes only a few minutes to make it, depends how fast is your Super glue.

Ooops, sorry for the “SUPPER glue” spelling, don’t eat it….:-)

Regards
niki

Very interesting gauge Niki.

Cool! Have you ever seen MacGyver?

You should go into business….write a book. In America 30% of the woodworking shows are guys who make little jigs and had the time or money to get them built out of plastic.

Thank you so much

Gizmodyne
I’ve seen McGyver but I cannot do what he was doing.

If I shall sit down to right a book, I’ll not have time to build jigs that is much more interesting.

In my age (63 in July), I’m not after the money. I get much more pleasure to share and maybe help a few beginners and amateurs like me to make short cuts and save money and time.

Thanks again
