Hey LJ’s,
I am in the process of designing a sleigh bed crib for a friend as a gift for her upcoming twins. I have never built a sleigh bed before but I have built a crib. So I am fimiliar with how to make everything BUT the sleigh bed feature for the rails. Has anyone made the curved part that almost has a circular feature that runs the length of the bed? If so, how did you do it and preferably can you show my visually?

Thanks a bunch!

Drew

I thought I had a link to post on this subject but I couldn’t find it. There is plan in Fine Woodworking that is informative. You would need an account, (pay type) at FWW to look at it but it might be worth it.

good luck.

Hi Drew, I never made one , the wife and I don’t particularly care for the style although I think they are beautiful if done right. I looked in my old mags and found one in FWW, I checked online and like Mel found you need to be member to get the plans. I included the link if you want it.
