Not sure if anyone is familiar with a online community called freecycle but basically its a way for people to give or get things from others in their area for free. I’ve gotten a lot of good stuff on there, but have always been waiting for some woodworking magazines. Today my wife picked up 78 back issues of FWW and American Woodworker. Most are in good condition, some still in plastic. Score one for the home team!!!!

That’s a great haul! I am a member of Freecycle here in St. Louis. I tend to just go after any scrap lumber that pops up on there, as it seems that most of what is offered are clothes and electronics that I don’t really have a use for. Guess you’ll be spending the next week in the shop with all the tools off as you plan your next hundred new project ideas! Way to go!

I use Freecycle too. I’m one of the people in my area that gives away bundles of scrap wood every now and then. Burning it seems a shame but I can easily acquire a lot more than storage space permits.

These have been very awesome so far, it feels like every time I turn the page there is another article about something I wanted to learn about.

In related news tonight I scored a decades worth of Family Handyman as well as some time life books regarding a number of home improvement areas.

Man…you suck. Heh heh, just kidding. I need to pay more attention to the emails that they send me…
Your project list probably goes on for quite a ways now!
