I purchased this from Garrett Wade years ago and still have all the pieces. It’s from England and it’s the first plane I purchased.

Much purdier than my first plane purchase(yesterday):

Interesting, I have never seen an 078 with only one guide bar. I hate the feel of the iron tote but when I get a chance, I am going to wrap mine with bicycle handlebar tape :).

I’d like try the Record 078. I think the Record iteration is superior than the Stanley #78.
