Bubble head you are correct, He was looking at species correction factors. And if I am not mistaken these “correction factors” are all based on the specific conductivity of each species. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the saw mill owners here on LJ’s had one of these charts laying around.

I did a little research as I’m looking for a new meter for myself. Looking at your pics it looks like yours is an older Delmhorst model. You can go to Delmhorst.com and download the manual for it if that’s who made yours.
I was only half right about the calculations, The correction factor is based on wood density which is different from one species to another.

BTW, even as an older model, that is a very high end model you have.

I was able to identify both my meter and electrode, as well as get instructions and tables for a similar, but newer model.

I’ll have to contact them and see how much new pins cost, as the insulation is chipping off of mine.

Looks like their are correction tables for both temp and species, so I guess my recollection was pretty good.
