...New posting… not sure image will appear – but would like suggestions for sealing cracks after using pre-finished hardwood flooring on countertops… – Suzanne

Short of stripping and refinishing the countertop, there’s no sure way of sealing the joints between the flooring strips. You can try wiping a bead of water based poly into the cracks and see how that works.

I assume you are using it because its left over from a flooring project? I’d advise using some sort of thick epoxy/resin to really fill in the whole thing. Not sure how it would do with scratching and what not especially if you used a knife on it. Also make sure you get something food safe.
