Every spring I have a rule: if you haven’t touched this tool in the last 12 months, it has to go. Well, I have some tools that I have never used and I doubt that I ever will. At one point, I thought I would make a guitar for my son. I got the Stewart-MacDonald catalogue and bought some stuff. Then I got busy and he went into the Navy and those tools sat in a box. I got a Veritas router plane, forged blades, flat blades, vee blade, an Elite 801 air pump, a precision router base, downcut router bits and the router plane fence. To be totally honest, I will never use these tools. If there are any guitar makers out there who are interested in these tools, make me an offer.
They are now gone….....

Would you be willing to part out the router plane blades?
