Help !
Trying to come up with a neat connector from 1.5 in OD port at the Dewalt to a 3 ” suction port vacuum system . Also 1.5 inch hose is hard to find. do i need to use a larger hose and do the reducing right at the saw port. ?? Any ideas welcome. Thanks

Check the drain plumbing couplers at Lowes or HD, some pvc coupler may connect you on the outside of the ports.

I’ll be watching this thread; I have the same problem (though I have to connect to 4” pipe). I’ve been leaving it till I build the miter station dust hood though, which will probably be this summer.

I am going to check to see if my Shop Vac hose will fit, and if it does see if I can get some at a building surplus place locally.

I found a 1.5 hose at lowe’s. the bare hose without an end on it is a perfect fit.

What about the bell reducer that comes with smaller shop vac’s. I think you can buy the pieces at ACE hardware and surely at other stores also.

I bought the hose adaptor for my Bosch sander and it fits into my DeWalt CPMS and belt sander. Doesn’t do a really good job but it helps.
